Even when we fail, fall short, or feel like we have wasted time, His grace invites us to repent, trust Him, and keep walking forward. Lamentations 3:22-23 reminds us that His mercies are new every morning, and that great is His faithfulness. I was also reminded of Philippians 3:13-14, where Paul says that he forgets those things which are behind and presses toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Our hope is never found in our own ability to start over but in the finished work of Jesus Christ, who makes all things new. As 2 Corinthians 5:17 declares, If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. Thank you for pointing readers to the hope that is found in God's grace rather than our own efforts. May we continue to fix our eyes on Christ, walk faithfully in obedience to His Word, and trust that He who began a good work in us will carry it on to completion according to Philippians 1:6.
