I really appreciated this message. It is such a powerful reminder that earthly walls, circumstances, and even things we think are permanent can fall, but Christ remains our firm foundation. Jesus said in Matthew 7:24-25 that the person who hears His words and does them is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. When the storms came, the house stood because its foundation was strong. Psalm 127:1 says, Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it. No matter what happens around us, we can have confidence when our lives are built on Christ. Ephesians 2:20 reminds us that Christ Jesus Himself is the chief cornerstone. Isaiah 28:16 also says, Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation. People and circumstances may change, plans may fail, and walls may come down, but God remains faithful. What a blessing to know that our hope is not built on something temporary but on Jesus Christ, who never changes. Hebrews 13:8 says, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. May we continue to build our lives, families, ministries, and faith upon Him, trusting that even when everything around us is shaken, the cornerstone will always stand.
